Final Summer Meeting

Gems had a successful year for the 2009-2010 academic school year. We want to keep up the momentum and with that comes voting for new officers, renewing the MSU student group forms, and preparing to introduce ourselves to incoming students.

We would like to schedule a meeting to handle these issues.

1)Voting- we need to vote in new executive members for GEMS so that the old executive members can show them how things are done in order to sustain GEMS and GEMS programs. If you feel you know someone who is a good choice for President, Vice President, or Secretary, please nominate them by emailing gems@epi.msu.edu with their name. Remember, if you feel you can do the job, please feel free to nominate yourself. We need people to fill these positions. Please send in all nominations by Friday Aug 06, 2010.

2) Once officers are chosen, we would like to hand power over right away teaching them about renewing the organizations documents, passing over all GEMS files, updating them on projects and helping them prepare for the fall semester.

This is alot to do, so please lets all be ready to discuss this all.
